Tomorrow, Tuesday 20 January, the first Connective Conversation of this year will take place at Fontys Academy of the Arts! Organised by the professorship Artistic Connective Practices, this Conversation is hosted by our senior researcher and dramaturge Danae Theodoridou, featuring Marta Keil.
Marta is a dramaturge, curator and researcher currently based in Utrecht. Her practice focuses on institutional dramaturgies and ways of re-enchanting modes of working in the performing arts. During this Connective Conversation, Marta will elaborate on artistic connectivity from the perspective of the notion of open-source curating, that she coined together with Alexander Roberts after their experience of working jointly on several curatorial projects. Through open-source curating Marta will address the questions around exhaustion of art workers and institutions, talk about institutional practices of hospitality and reflect the ways within which an art institution can become more public.
