New co-authored exposition on the Research Catalogue

Some things need a bit longer… Remember my post The Running Researcher from January 2022? The result of this work, the co-authored exposition on the Research Catalogue by Heleen de Hoon myself is now available in open access!

In September 2021, I started my work as professor of Artistic Connective Practices at Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg. Together with dramaturge Heleen de Hoon, we created the first project of the professorship: “Running Tilburg”; a project to get to know and connect to the city and the new surroundings by running it, and explore running as a connective practice – literally through spending time with feet on the ground.

The run happened in November 2021, and, finally, Heleen and I managed to finish our exposition on the Research Catalogue – almost three years later. In the exposition, we share the process and reflections of the project, documented by video, photos and field notes. And rather than presenting conclusive findings and final reflections, the purpose of the exposition is to share the documentation of the process and the experience. Thus, we understand the project and this exposition quite literally as a first step to lead to potentially next and new steps.

The exposition can be accessed here. Enjoy!
