staged composition for harpist, harp, requisites, soundtrack and video
concept, composition, direction, video: Falk Hübner
live and video performance, harp: Milana Zaric
studio engineer: Gilius Kreiken
video lighting: Rik ‘t Jong
with kind support of: Royal Conservatory The Hague, Theater Zeebelt The Hague
In Living Room Falk Hübner asks questions about the ‘reality’ of the daily audiovisual media. Is everything that enters the tv-screens of our living rooms actually happening, and ‘real’? What do we believe and what is obviously fake?
Living Room combines the live performance on the harp with the same performer on video. Oscillating between concert, film and installation, the playing and unpretentious actions of the live performer meet, merge and clash with the video part, filmed with a hand camera and edited to an audiovisual journey between documentary film and psychedelic movie.
