On a quick note, the new issue of Forum+ has just been published and can be accessed via the website of the journal. The issue opens a new dossier dedicated to exploring the art school as an ecosystem in the 21st century. What does the 21st-century art school look like? What remains of the original mission of conservatoires and academies, after a series of institutional reforms and the introduction of research in the arts? And what challenges does the future hold?
As usual, the issue is published in Open Access, and offers a variety of perspectives on past, present and future higher arts education, including an editorial note by Forum-co-founder and research coordinator of the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, Kevin Voets.
